Jason Breco "Jake" Johnson, 53, passed away Monday June 5 at his home in Carlsbad, NM. Jason was born January 13, 1964 to Patricia Ann & John Richard Johnson in Amarillo, Texas. Jason will most be remembered by his family and friends for his helping hands, big heart and contagious laugh. He loved loud music, dancing with the girls, and poking fun into every situation. Jason provided for his family by mining for New Mexico Potash and mudlogging for Discovery Logging for many years but his favorite trade was carpentry. He was the family Mr. Fixit, always available with a solution and a smile. He will be most missed by his children whose day he always tried to brighten. He is survived by his daughters: Amber Maples (Paul Maples), Kristin Adams (Jacob Adams), Keeri Ramos (Jimmy Sandate), Makiah Johnson, and son Jason Tyler Johnson, father John R. Johnson and stepmother Georgia Johnson, sisters Kimberly Dossey and Victoria Irwin and his 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Johnson and grandson Christian Ramos. Until we see you again Daddy. Wait at the gates for us, your kids are always late. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
