Janice Linnietta (Jordan) Foutch, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 15, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Janice was born on July 28, 1936 to Linnietta and Sterling (Bill) Jordan in Carlsbad, NM. She moved away after graduation but returned to Carlsbad, NM in 1959 from Seguine, Texas. Janice retired from IMC in February 1998 after 38 years where she completed her career as Senior Designer.
Janice married Thomas Foutch on December 31, 1977 and they combined their families to finish raising and encouraging their three children.
Janice is survived by her husband, Thomas Foutch and three children, Guy Wohlfahrt and wife, Carol, Kim Martinez, and Ricky Foutch and wife, Rhonda. She had 5 grandchildren: Lonnie Alvarez and wife, Misty, Chandal Bass and husband, Dan, Jermaine Alvarez, Britta Wohlfahrt, Thomas Foutch and wife, Stephanie; 7 great-grandchildren: Reina Owens and husband, Brady, Ivan Alvarez, Lonnie Alvarez, Jr., Dillion Alvarez, Alexia Alvarez, Ayden Bass, Axton Bass and a great-grandson to be born in two months, Hagen Glenn Foutch. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Miller; Fox and Lake Church of Christ family and many wonderful friends in the community.
Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Linnietta Henderson Jordan, her father, Sterling (Bill) William Jordan and siblings, Earl Jordan, James Jordan and sister, Alice M. (Susie) Jordan.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Fox and Lake Church of Christ with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
