Janice L. Boyd

Janice L. Boyd, 79, of Cypress Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her home.  Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Janice was born December 2, 1943 in Blackberry City, West Virginia to Russell and Gracie Faye (Daniels) Williamson.  She married Donal Roy Boyd March 28, 1960 in Pecos, Texas.  Janice was affectionately known as Nana, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and making peanut brittle.  Janice raised her family at Calvary Assembly of God.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Gracie Williamson; husband, Donal R. Boyd; brother, Harold Williamson; sisters: Loraine Lloyd, Bonnie Jean Homer and Judy Gilbert.

Survivors are her daughters: Christine Lobato, Sherry Hays and husband, Kenny, Marsha Dummer and husband, Brad; grandchildren: Jessica Chmiel, Eric Espinoza and wife, Vianca, Aaron Chmiel, Samantha Espinoza, Shawn Cooke and Amanda Wray, Sasha Dummer and Dimitry Dummer; great-grandchildren: Jade Espinoza, Kenan Chmiel, Daxon Cooke and Eva Espinoza; sisters: Sue Williams, Madge Miller; brothers: Ronnie Williamson and wife, Edna, Larry Williamson and numerous nieces and nephews.
