Janice K. Warren

Janice K. Warren, 68, of N. 4th Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away October 26, 2015 at her home. There will be no visitaiton, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2015, 2:30 PM, at First Christian Church with Rev. David Rogers officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Janice K. Warren was born January 5, 1947 in Carlsbad New Mexico. She graduated form Carlsbad High School in 1965. Jan worked for Eddy County as Human Resource Director and retired after 25 years of service. She loved spoiling her two dogs, Benji and Penny. Jan and Lynn enjoyed traveling and fishing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Doc Hensley; husband, Alvie Lynn Warren; son, Jeff Lawler; grandsons: Brandon Lawler, Brent Padilla and one niece. Survivors are her daughter, Jalan Padilla and husband, Troy of Carlsbad, NM; stepson, Cory Warren and wife, Erica of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Verna Hensley of Carlsbad, NM; daughter-in-law, Irma Lawler of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughters: Kara Padilla, Jaidyn Lawler; step-grandson: Hunter Warren of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Tommy Thompson and wife, Darlene of Oklahoma, Patty Tutor of Arkansas, Libby Allen and husbnad, Roland of Carlsbad, NM, Bob Thompson and wife, Sharon of Florida, Paul Thompson and wife, Toni of Carlsbad, NM, Carolyn Taylor and husband, Jeff of Bosque Farms, NM; brother-in-law, Bill Warren and wife, Allene of Carlsbad, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
