Jane Bartlett

Obituary Jane Bartlett, 82, of Mountainview Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away April 18, 2020 at her home. Cremation will take place and services will be held at a later date. Jane was born March 21, 1938 in Artesia, NM, to David and Verna (Thomas) Bartlett. She married Floyd Bartlett March 31,1963. Jane enjoyed the years being a mother to Janet and Steve. She later received an associates degree in business from NMSU-Carlsbad. Jane worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Carlsbad. She loved her grandchildren and never turned down the opportunity to attend their many activities and sporting events. Jane enjoyed painting, sewing and line dancing at the senior center. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Bartlett; granddaughter, Jessica Janes; brothers: David Bartlett and Larry Bartlett. Survivors are her daughter, Janet Beams and husband, Tracy; son, Steve Bartlett and wife, Deanie; grandchildren: Jed Janes, John Janes, Austin Harper, Kyle Bartlett and wife, Kelsey, Sam Bartlett and Stevie Bartlett; great-granddaughter, Kendall Lilly Bartlett; brothers: Warner Bartlett, Dan Bartlett, John Bartlett, Mike Bartlett and wife, Kathy and Eric Bartlett; sisters: Marion Bartlett, Sue Knight, Peggy Graham, Dennis Colclough and Vicki Keeling.
