Jamie Kovacs, 37, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Sunset Church of Christ with Brian McGonagill officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jamie Kovacs was born July 29, 1978 in Carlsbad, NM. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Robertson and grandmother, Bonnie Robertson. Survivors are her mother, Vicki Zurovic and husband, Dwayne, Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Stephen Kovacs and wife, Mindy of Carlsbad, NM, Bryan Lee Ward and wife, Cameron of Carlsbad, NM, Kimberly Nunley of Carlsbad, NM, Jeremiah Nunley and wife, Marlana of Carlsbad, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
