James W. Tomblin, Sr

James W. Tomblin Sr., 65, of Standpipe Road, Carlsbad, NM passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2014, 1:00 pm, at Morton Cemetery, Morton TX with Bob Armstrong officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. James W. Tomblin, Sr. was born August 3, 1949 in Levelland, Texas to James Henry and Norma Evelyn (Sides) Tomblin. He was preceded in death by his father James H. Tomblin. Survivors are wife, Lorraine K. Tomblin; children: James W. Tomblin Jr. and wife Elizebeth of Carlsbad, NM, Jessica Ewing and husband Doug of Carlsbad, NM and Jacob Tomblin of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: James H. Tomblin and Cody Tomblin; mother, Norma Tomblin of El Paso, TX; siblings; Paula Ellsworth of Carlsbad, NM, Joe Tomblin and wife Marilyn of Carlsbad, NM, and Arlene Tomblin of Carlsbad, NM, and several neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jake Tomblin, James Tomblin Jr., Cody Tomblin, James H. Tomblin, T. J. Roberson, Jody Ellsworth.
