Adventure by definition is an undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks….
Jim lived a life of adventure, his compass in a constant spin. And this is exactly how he liked it. Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, Jim’s journey took him where mere mortals would not dare…. Armed with wisdom and a quick wit, and occasionally a triumph convertible to get him through.
Jim lived adventure.
Those that knew Jim best would tell you… he was kind, funny and intelligent….
Those that really knew Jim would tell you…
He would always help you “borrow” his dad’s jeep. And even help you push it out of the quarry…
He would be a “rebel” finding his cause, even from an early age.
He was a hero without even realizing it.
Someone said, “Jim never grew up…he was dragged up.” There was never a more true statement.
Jim was always quick to make someone smile or lend a hand when needed, he was a true friend.
Those that truly knew Jim loved him for being perfectly imperfect…and would never want him any other way….
Jim was a brilliant renaissance man…there was nothing he couldn’t do or figure out…he would say
“YOU are your only limitation”... “Don’t try…do”
A proud United States Marine….is what he would say …Everyone knows Marines need no explanation…Excellence has no true definition…
Jim was loved by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Jim is survived by so many amazing things….the love of his life, his children and family, his art, kindness, laughter, and wisdom.
He would tell you “ Don’t be a tree! …move”..
Oh and probably “let’s go Brandon”
Because that was him
That was Jim ….
