James "Junior" Lee Tanner, Jr

James Lee "Junior" Tanner, Jr., 56, of Hill Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. There will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Junior was born May 4, 1958 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to James Lee and Catherine (Wigley) Tanner, Sr. He has lived in Carlsbad his whole life. He loved to go fishing, barbeque with family and friends and help anyone in need. He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Cindy L. Tanner and brother, Brian Tanner. Survivors are his wife of 21 years, Linda J. Tanner of Carlsbad, NM; brothers: James Ralph Tanner, Clyde Allen Tanner; sister, Mendy L.
