James "Jim Bob" Buff

James "Jim Bob" Buff, 54, former resident, passed away March 23, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. There will be no visitaiton, cremation will take place. Memorial Services are scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2015, 10:30 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. James "Jim Bob" Buff was born November 2, 1960 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Robert Earl and Johnnie Inez (Laney) Buff. He enjoyed music, sports and working puzzles. Jim Bob never turned down the opportunity to go to Hastings and often stayed for hours. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by them. Jim Bob was currently under the care of Tobosa Developmental Services in Roswell and the family would like to thank the staff for their excellent care during the passed 2 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Johnnie Buff. Survivors are his sister, Missy Garriott and husband, Robert of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Lenny Randolph Buff of Sweetwater, TX; sister-in-law: JoeAnn Buff; niece, Amanda Jennings; nephews: Craig Jennings, Casey Buff, Chris Buff; cousins: Chance Laney, Juanita Carter and many many more and special friend, Susan Grigg of Carlsbad, NM.
