James M. Jacquez

James M. Jacquez, 55, of West Bronson Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. James was born on June 9, 1965, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Joe and Mary Jacquez.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will be at Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM.

James was preceded in death by his father, Joe Jacquez; mother, Mary Jacquez; brother, Joe M. Jacquez; and nephew, Julian Jacquez.

James is survived by his three sons: Eric Jacquez, Carlos Sosa, and Jacob Jacquez all of Carlsbad, NM; three grandsons: Joeanthony Sosa, Jonathan Sosa, and Ian Sosa all of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Roy Jacquez of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Brenda Valenzuela and husband, Fred of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Susie Jacquez of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Joseph Jacquez of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Josie Jacquez of Roswell, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
