James H. Janes

James H. Janes, 66, of West Riverside, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home. Cremation has taken place and there will be no local services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. James H. Janes was born May 14, 1948 in Buckholts, Texas to John and Laura (Fiezel) Janes. He was a resident of Carlsbad for the past 32 years. James worked as a technician at Phil Carrel and Ross Hyden Motors. He was a longtime member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge # 1558. James enjoyed fishing and in his later years enjoyed golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julien Fox. Survivors are his son, Jerrod Janes and wife, Jessica of New York, NY; daughter, Jade Taylor and husband, Jordan of Arlington, TX; former wife, Patti Janes of Ft.
