Jacob Brady Robinson was born in joy to a family who loved him fiercely on March 16, 2004. Jacob was a delightful being who brought love and laughter to his family who treasured him. He was born a little brother to his sister Tiffiny. But when his sister Brooklynn was born 2 years later, Jake became “Brothy” – a title he assumed with distinction and recommitted to when his sister Madelynn was born a few years later. Jacob, along with his sisters, never missed a chance to get into trouble. Whether by flooding the yard and turning umbrellas into boats or jumping off of the railroad bridge, Jacob liked to take risks and always looked for opportunities to be brave. Jacob was everyone’s best friend, a caring and thoughtful kiddo who loved to make people laugh and recruit to go on adventures. He never met a dog or a cat he did not try to befriend or offer assistance. He was a bright and curious child who excelled in school and his pursuits in sports: baseball, football, track and field. Jacob had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States from Hawai’i, Seattle, Washington, D.C. to Boston –he enjoyed traveling and experiencing the thrill of exploring the world. Jacob put his heart into everything he did– he lived fearlessly and passionately. He was a kind young man who loved his family, especially his sisters deeply, he was also a devoted and loyal friend. You never doubted if Jacob loved you, if you were his, you were always his to love, to protect, and though less in his teen years, to cuddle. At the time of his death Jacob was pursuing academic and professional success, taking classes at Southeast New Mexico College and working at the hospital, he hoped to eventually become a paramedic and put his strength and purpose under pressure to work helping others in their time of need. His family was and remains always so proud that he is ours. Jacob died after sustaining catastrophic injuries in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, February 25th. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Robinson. Jacob is survived by his parents, Eric and Chrissy Robinson; sisters, Tiffiny Sanchez, Brooklynn Robinson, Madelynn Robinson; grandparents, Tommy and Linda Folsom; aunts, Jennifer McCurter and husband Jonathon, Stacey Folsom, Alison Folsom and Lindsay Smith; uncles, Earl Robinson, Jonathan Folsom; nieces, Marilyn, Audrey; nephew, Elias; cousins, Brandon, Ruby, Luca, Selah, Eliot and Emerson. Should friends desire to make memorial donations, the Robinson and Folsom families ask donations be made in Jacob’s honor to any animal rescue of your choice.
