Obituary
Honesty Shae Carrasco Valdez was born to Mike and Elena Carrasco in October 28, 1987, she was 31 years young. She graduated from Loving High School in 2006. Honesty passed away on April 25, 2019 after her courageous battle with cancer. Honesty was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in the fall of 2014, but she did not let that beat hershe fought like a warrior until the end. "Shae Shae" had a heart of gold, a beautiful soul with a contagious smile and a personality that left a long-lasting impression on everyones heart. Holidays and special occasions gave her a reason to entertain. She was the highlight of the party. Honesty loved to bake and cook for family and friends. She was the successful business owner of Ace of Hearts Nutrition where she never met a strangerall who entered were friends. Honesty met the love of her life, Angelo Valdezand they married in 2016. She loved her stepson, Gavin Valdez like he was her own. Honesty had 2 chocolate labs that were her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband, Angelo Valdez; stepson, Gavin Valdez; parents: Mike and Elena Carrasco; siblings: Michael Carrasco and partner, Elizabeth Fuentes, Kimberly Carrasco and partner, Richard Lopez, Dusty Carrasco, Jennifer and Jr Hernandez; nieces and nephews: Celica and Austin Hernandez, JazzMariah, Mikie, Jace, and Hunter Carrasco; grandparents: Jesus "Chuey" Carrasco, Adan and Manuela Hernandez.
Visitation will begin at noon 5 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil is scheduled for 7 PM, Wednesday at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Cordero officiating. Interment will follow at Loving Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arturo Valdez, Gavin Valdez, Michael Carrasco, Dusty Carrasco, Bobby Parraz and Jacob Cordova. Honorary pallbearers are Mikie Carrasco, Jr., Hunter Carrasco, Jace Carrasco and Austin Hernandez.
