Hazel G. Isaacs

Funeral services are scheduled for Hazel G. Isaacs at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 15 at First Assembly of God, 1502 W. Mermod. Pastor Brad Coates will officiate. Visitation will be held at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Sunday, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Burial will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. Mrs. Isaacs was born on Oct. 7, 1917 in Boswell Arkansas to Earl and Laura Mulliniks. Mrs. Isaacs passed away at her home on N. Alameda in Carlsbad on Thursday, March 11. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Jesse "Jay" Isaacs, her parents, three brothers and four sisters, and two son-in-laws. She is survived by daughters, Jessie Ruth McElhannon and husband Edgar of Colorado Springs, Co., Maytha and husband Bill Daniels of Artesia and Janis Isaacs of Santa Fe, NM, seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Isaacs' grandchildren, Robert Kersey, Jr. of Laramie Wyoming, Cindy Caton of Colorado Springs, Co., Karla DeNae Sequioa of St. Simmons, GA. , Tim Daniels of Eden, Utah , Nathan Dozier of Santa Fe, NM, Jayson Kersey of Colorado Springs, CO., Erin Lomeli of Santa Fe, NM and great grandson Dane Schroff of St. Simmons, GA. Mrs. Isaacs was a wonderful cook and devoted to her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
