Harold Joe Swinney

Harold Joe Swinney was born June 30, 1939 in Miami, Arizona to Milton and Lela Faye (Townsend) Swinney. He grew up in Arizona and in 1950 moved to Carlsbad. He attended Carlsbad High School and later worked at Mom's Car Wash for several years. He attended CARC for a while and in 1992 moved to TOBOSA. While he was at TOBOSA he worked in maintenance and enjoyed bead working. He also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bud Swinney; sisters: Mary Nell Neighbors, Dorothy Sandefur and Linda Lou Garrett. Survivors are his brother, Darrell Swinney and wife, Jewel of Herrington, KS and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.
