Gloria Galindo Quinones

Gloria G. Quinones, 79, of Ortega Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. A vigil is scheduled for Friday, February 19, 2016, 7:30 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 20, 2016, 12:00 noon at San Jose Catholic Church with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Gloria G. Quinones was born April 11, 1936 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Francisco and Seferina (Jimenez) Galindo. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rafael Quinones; son, Francisco Martinez; brother, Inez Galindo; sisters: Elfida Melendez and Henrietta Parraz. Survivors are her companion, Daniel Ramirez; brothers, Manuel and Gilbert Galindo; sister, Carmen Carrasco, all of California; sons, Eddy Martinez and wife, Sylvia, Johnny Martinez; daughters, Sylvia De Los Santos and Rudy Catano, Linda Ontiveros, Jessica Martinez; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearer will be Isaiah Tsougas. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
