Glenna Jo Page, 72, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Lakeview Christian Home, after a long hard fought battle. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 9:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Private Interment will take place at Memory Gardens, Hobbs, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Glenna Jo Page was born October 6, 1937, to Sanford D. and Violet L. (Bowman) Page. She moved to Hobbs as a young girl with her family. Glenna Jo married Roy Lee Page, March 23, 1955 in Hobbs. She worked in retail for many years, but her love was working for the Agency on Aging in the senior companions foster grandparents program. Glenna Jo has resided in Carlsbad for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Lee Page and her son, Tony Page. She is survived by her family: Karen and Jack Sayre of North San Ysidro, NM; Jayne and Bobby Lee and Hannah, Joby and Trustin of Carlsbad, NM; Jackie and Kenneth Wilkins and Jeffery, Raymond and Kaycee of Uhland, TX, Judy and Ray Waldrop of Carlsbad, NM; Linda Wright of North Carolina, Jeremy & Tuesday Swanner, Heather, Jacob, Arik and Olivia of Fayetteville, NC. Joy and Bob Hitch of Dallas, TX; Ron and Kay Worley of Helen Springs, AR; Tom and Nancy Worley of Las Vegas, NV and numerous nieces and nephews.
