Obituary
Aubrey Glen Moore, 85, of West Ural Street Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. Glen was born on November 20, 1933, in Rochester, TX to Elias and Lottie Moore. Later, he met the love of his life, Peggy Joyce Patton, and got married on July 19, 1952, in Lueders, TX.
Glen was an active member and custodian of the Sunset Church of Christ, of which he retired from this year. His servant heart and tireless dedication was not only evident by his work, but also in his love for the children at the Shining Stars Preschool. Over the years, Glen loved getting to play and coach softball; as well as, drinking coffee with the guys at McDonalds. For many years, he also owned and managed Glens Auto Sales. Glen enjoyed telling jokes, figuring out the daily crossword puzzle, and watching Gun Smoke and Jeopardy. But most of all, Glen loved getting to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment he had with them. He will be missed and remembered always.
Glen was preceded in death by his father, Elias Franklin Moore; mother, Lottie Pearl (Hargrove) Moore; son, Darrel Moore; brother, Bill Moore; brother, Pep Moore; and sister, Joyce Shelley.
