Obituary Gayle Wright, 62, of Tierra Del Sol, passed away December 17, 2018 at her home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM 7:00 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Roosevelt Armendariz officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Gayle Wright was born October 11, 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Henry Alton and Gwen (White) Wright. She was raised and educated in Carlsbad, graduating from Carlsbad High School in 1974. Gayle worked for McCausland Aviation and Heils Rental cars for many years. She then went to work for the City of Carlsbad transit division over 18 years and she was essential in its success. Gayle loved to cook and bake for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be missed. Survivors are her sons: Chris Wright and wife, Sara of Carlsbad, NM, T.K. Wright and Ryann Farris of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Diane Worth of Carlsbad, NM; brothers: James Richard Wright of Houston, Texas, John Alton Wright of Lafayette, Louisiana; grandchildren: Damon Wright, Loey Wright and Adrian Ramirez. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
