Gary Gene Sutphen

Gary Gene Sutphen, 67 passed away December 7, 2011 at home. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He worked as an operator at the potash mines, the natural gas pipeline and for Eddy County. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lucille Sutphen of Carlsbad. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie Shipman and Tracy Doubrava and their spouses all of Aurora, CO; four granddaughters, Samantha, Sydney, Lauren and Megan; sister, Sharon Honesto of San Jose, CA and brother, Lanny Sutphen of Odessa, TX and their spouses. Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
