Frankie L. McReynolds

Frankie L. (Clark) McReynolds was born May 3, 1928 to William T. and Alma Gray Clark in Thalia, Texas. She received her education in Vernon, Texas. She married Edmon “Ed” Johnston in 1946 in Vernon, Texas. They moved to Carlsbad in 1948. Together they shared 3 wonderful Children. After Ed’s death in 1967, she married Myron “Mac” McReynolds in 1978. Mac preceded her in death in 2002.

Frankie worked as a cashier in many grocery stores for several years. She worked in the lab at Amax Potash mines, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Frankie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-Grandchildren and great- great grandson. Frankie had hobby of collecting and restoring old dolls.

Frankie L. Mc Reynolds passed away at Goodlife Senior Living on Feb 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Edward Clark and sister Wanda Schrock.

Frankie is survived by her daughter Dianne Corbin and husband Willard, sons Larry Johnston and wife, Faith, Terry Johnston and wife, LaVern; granddaughters: Lindsay Garza and Steve, Sara Madrid and Mark, Erin Johnston, McKenzie Mabrey and Grant; great-grandchildren, Taylor Madrid and spouse LJ, Rylee Garza, Ty Castaneda, Will Garza, Trey Castaneda, Mack Mabrey, Miley Mabrey, Allyson Madrid and Madden Mabrey and great- great grandson Maddox Madrid.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Carlsbad Cemetery with Mike Veilleux officiating. We would like to thank Lakeview Hospice for their care and compassion you showed to our loved one. We would also like to thank Goodlife Senior Living for all their care.
