Francisco "Lightning" G. Jaure

Francisco G. "Lightning" Jaure, 64, former resident, went to his place of rest on March 3, 2014 in Houston, Texas. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Vigil is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2014, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Francisco G. "Lightning" was born June 26, 1949 in Carlsbad, NM to Francisco M. and Isabel (Galvan) Jaure. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church until moving to Houston, Texas. Lightning served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lionel M. Jaure. Survivors are four brothers: Diosdado G. Jaure and wife, Amelia, Ricky Galvan and wife, Susan all of Carlsbad, NM, Joe Carrasco and wife, Catherine, Ruben Galvan and wife, Louisa all of Texas; two sisters: Juanita Duran and husband, Henry of Artesia, NM, Martha Galvan and husband, Johnny Dorado of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Frank Juare, III, Michael Jaure, Israel Jaure of Carlsbad, NM, Bo Jaure, Ben Jaure of Missouri; daughter, Isabel Jaure of Carlsbad, NM; adoptive son, Juan Carlos of Houston, TX 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
