Francisca M. Orozco, 79, of West Lea Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Lakeview Christian Home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Sunday, October 20, 2013, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2013, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Francisca M. Orozco was born on June 4, 1934, in Porvenir, Texas to Trinidad and Carlota (Mendoza) Muro. In 1952, she married Antonio Orozco. They moved to Carlsbad where she worked at the Stevens Inn as a housekeeper for 9 years. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. Francisca loved to sing and dance. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Jose Antonio. Survivors are her daughters: Josie Rocha and husband, Jesus and Sylvia Barragan; son, Gonzalo Muro, II; grandchildren: Alicia Cortez and husband, Albian, Arturo Barragan, Chris Valdez and wife, Ruby, Anthony Orozco, Mindy Duran and husband, Robert, Amanda Pruneda and husband, Victor, Adrian Orozco, Jesus Rocha, Alonzo Rocha and wife, Jolene, Gonzalo Muro, III, Mario Muro, Michael Muro, Crystal Murrillo and husband, Zack; great-grandchildren: Juan Carrillo, Jr., Isaiah Carrillo, Katya Valdez, Janessa Orozco, Analy Cortez, Alaya Palomo, Anthony Orozco, Jr., Johnathan Carrillo, Jalen Valdez, Christopher Carrillo, Samantha Orozco, Warek Granger, Joe Orozco, Arryana Cortez, Audriana Cortez, Morgan Muro, Harleigh Rocha, Mia Rocha, Urijah Rocha, Makeyla Pruneda, Jazlyn Duran, Robert Duran III; and great-great-grandchild, Aubriana Carrillo.
