Francis Lee Tyler

Francis Lee Tyler, 68, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, went to meet the Lord in Heaven on Thursday, September 15, 2011. There will be no pubic visitation. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, September 19, 2011, 4:00 PM, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Boyd officiating. Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 23, 2011, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, with burial to occur in The Masonic Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements. Francis Lee Tyler was born on March 4, 1943 in England, Arkansas to Francis Jefferson and Myra (England) Tyler. He worked for TRW Cinch in Pocahontas, Arkansas for almost 10 years. Francis helped at the food bank for many years. He was a good friend to everyone, he tried to help others when they needed him to. Francis was a good person and did the Lord's work when he could. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myra E. Billips and father, Francis J. Tyler. Survivors are his wife, Jane T. Tyler of Carlsbad; daughter, Cindy Preston of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Joshua Lee Preston, Nicole Lynn Preston, Aaron Davidson Preston and Hunter Den Anderson all of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Charly Tyler of Missouri; 3 aunts and one uncle.
