Felicitas "Feliz" Salazar, 101, of W. Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away February 18, 2016 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Israel Sanchez officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Felicitas "Feliz" Salazar was born February 25, 1914 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was always known as "mom" to all. Feliz loved her family dearly and was always faithful to Jehovah God. She was proud of the fact she lived more than 100 years and was still walking. Feliz was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ysidro "Chilo" Salazar; sons: Moises Salazar, Rolando Salazar, Efren Salazar and daughter, Lucille Pea.
Survivors are her granddaughters: Belinda Hernandez, Phyllis Pea, Elizabeth Salazar Segovia, Darlene Pea, Sonia Salazar, Emily V. Rogers, Beverley Richardson and Valerie V. Jacks; grandsons: Rolando Y. Salazar, Mark Salazar and Danny Villa; great-grandchildren: Anna Suarez, Erica Segovia, Krystal Rose Eliz Alva and numerous other great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ramon Villalpando and numerous nieces and nephews.
