Eva Y. Quinones

Eva Y. Quinones, 84, of Loving, passed away February 21, 2024 in Hobbs, NM.  A graveside service is scheduled for 2:30 PM, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Loving Cemetery with Deacon Melvin Balderrama officiating.   Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eva was born December 14, 1939 in Loving, New Mexico to Florencio and Ysidora (Duran) Ybaben.   She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and dancing.  Eva loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are her daughters: Lilly Balderrama and husband, Melvin, and Celia Ponce; sons: Rafael Quinones and wife, Martha, Raul Quinones, Jaime Quinones and wife, Theresa, and Danny Quinones; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Reynaldo Ybaben; sisters: Lupe Macias and Rosie Ybaben; brother, Florencio Ybaben, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
