Eunice L. McNutt

Eunice L. McNutt, 74, of W. Pierce street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2017, 2:30 PM, at Emmanuel Gospel Church, 2304 N. Canal Street, with Pastor Danialle Estrada officiating. Interment will follow in Susnet Gardens Memorial Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Eunice L. McNutt was born December 22, 1942 in Carlsbad, NM to Lester and Irene White. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1962. Eunice married Melvin J. McNutt December 19, 1962. She enjoyed raising her four children and in later years Eunice worked at the hospital and more recently in the restaurant industry. Her hobbies included singing in the church choir, beadwork, making dolls and traveling. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill White. Survivors are her husband, Melvin McNutt of Carlsbad, NM; children: Damon McNutt of Carlsbad, NM, Sheila Turnbow and husband, Jeff of Denver, Colorado, Ray McNutt and wife, Maryse of Aurora, Colorado and Bill McNutt of Boise, Idaho; grandson, Johnathan Baldauf of Boise, Idaho; brother, Donald White; sisters: Monell Loe and husband, Rod and Debbie Workman and husband, Jimmy, all of Carlsbad, NM and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ray McNutt, Bill McNutt, Damon McNutt, Johnathan Baldauf, Rod Loe and Donny White. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
