Ethel M. Torres

Ethel M. Torres, 81, of North 12th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Services is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2014, 6:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ethel Torres was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on January 30, 1933 to Guillermo and Rafaela (Mendoza) Muniz. She married Robert L. Torres on May 4, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Rafaela Muniz; husband, Robert; brothers: Santiago, Dionecio, Elias Muniz; sisters: Aurelia Campos and Rachel Palomino. Survivors are her daughter, Brina Csombok of Temple, TX; son, Daniel M. Torres and Oliva of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Manuel Romero, Sarah Melendrez, Joseph Garza; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Anita; brothers, Joe Muniz and Jack Muniz; sisters: Esmera Archuleta and Lilly Mendez and numerous nieces and nephews.
