Esequiel Gomez Flores, 85, of West Pecan Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, at his home. A Vigil will be held, Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 4:30 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, 1001 North Canal Street, Carlsbad, NM with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will be held in Mexico at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements. Esequiel Gomez Flores was born February 27, 1926 in El Porvenir, Mexico to Lasaro and Delfina (Gomez) Flores.
