Embrey "Cowboy" Parker, 70, passed away May 26, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, NM.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Neil was born on April 30, 1953, in Covington, Tennessee, to Roy and Marie Parker. He was raised in Covington and moved to New Mexico in 1999. Neil was preceded in death by his father, Roy Estes Parker; mother, Dora Marie Parker Hanks; three brothers: Roy Earl Parker, Thomas Sanford Parker, and James Douglas Parker; and two sisters, Mary Lou Smith and Linda Darlene Eastman.

Neil is survived by his loving wife, Paula Parker, of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Cathy Underwood and husband Glen of Little Rock, AR; sister-in-law Doris Edmonds Parker; and too many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews to count.
