Elvera Nichols passed away September 24, 2014 in California. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, November 3, 2014 at Carlsbad Cemetery with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements. Elvera Fernandez Nichols was born January 28, 1940. She is survived by her brother, Reuben Fernandez of Abilene, TX; children: Debbie Santos, Danny Nichols, Brenda Nichols, Christina Nichols all of Modesto, CA; grandchildren: David Rojas, Johnny Santos, Daniel Nichols, II, Angelina Guzman, Marcella Chavez, Adrian Plasencia, Andrew Plasencia, Marisa Ortiz, Joel Rodriguez and Nichole Garcia all of Modesto California.
