Eloise Owens- Moore

Eloise Owens Moore, 97, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Lakeview Christian Home. Cremation will take place and burial will be held in Thurman, Iowa.

Eloise was born May 8, 1927, in McPaul, Iowa, to Jack and Minnie Jane (Tillman) McAlexander. She graduated from high school in Thurman, Iowa in 1945. Eloise worked as a secretary over 40 years in Ventura, California before moving to Carlsbad in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Floyd Owens and Frank Moore; sister, Joyce Marshall; brothers: Bruce McAlexander and Cork McAlexander, and nephew, Wally Marshall.

 Survivors are her nephews: Bruce Marshall and Michael McAlexander; nieces: Teresa Domaschk, Bobbi Palmer, Denise McAlexander, and Vicki Watson, and nephew, Brian Marshall.
