Ella Mae Clifton

Obituary Ella Mae Clifton of Mineola, Texas went to be with Jesus on November 30, 2019 after a tragic accident. She was born August 10, 1941 in Odessa, Texas. She married Melvin Clifton on November 7, 1962 and moved to Carlsbad, NM where she resided until 2015 when she moved to East Texas to live with her daughter, Nita Kerby. Ella Mae's husband preceded her in death in May 2006. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Johnston, Tommy Johnston, and Bobby McMasters and four sisters: Mildred Mahler, Margaret Spain, Ellen Perry and Vera Smith, as well as her parents. Ella Mae is survived by her two daughters: Nita Kerby of Mineola, Texas, Belinda Davis of Quanah, Texas and son, Wayne Clifton of Carlsbad, NM; sisters: Sue Taylor of Round Rock, Texas and Johnnie Sumrow of Galveston, Texas as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
