Elizabeth Grace Fuss

Elizabeth Grace Fuss, 87, of Westridge Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away July 29, 2010 at Landsun Homes. Visitation will be Monday, August 2, 2010, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 10:00 AM, at Landsun Homes Otto Chapel with Dr. Larry Krueger officiating. Interment will take place Friday, August 6, 2010, 10:00 AM at Floral Haven Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Elizabeth Grace (Zimmerman) Fuss was born October 24, 1922 to Mark and Grace Isadore (Gilstrap) Zimmerman. She graduated from high school in Miami, FL and finished business college. Elizabeth married Loyd Earle Fuss August 3, 1944 in Miami. They moved to Tulsa, OK from Ponca City, OK in 1953. After Loyd died, Elizabeth moved to Landsun Homes in 2005 to be closer to her daughter. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed working in the church nursery. Elizabeth was involved in leadership for Camp Fire Girls and Boy Scouts for many years. She also enjoyed crafts, gardening and ceramics. Elizabeth hand crafted numerous ceramic chalices for churches throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loyd Earle Fuss in 2004, son Gary Earl Fuss, two brothers: Martin and Fred Zimmerman and a grandson Lee Krueger. Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Anita Krueger and husband, Larry of Carlsbad, NM; two sons Frank Fuss and wife, Monica of Kansas City, KS, Larry Fuss and wife, Cathy of Tucson, AZ; one sister: Lillian Hill of Mount Airy, NC; Grandchildren: Amy Krueger of Arlington, TX, Tim Krueger of Chicago, IL, Alicia Fuss of Nashville, TN, Rebecca Fuss of Orlando, FL, Stephen Fuss of Kansas City, KS, Diana Fuss of Kansas City, KS.
