Elaine T. Marshall

Elaine T. Marshall, 69, of Hamilton Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 1:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Elaine T. Marshall was born August 3, 1946 in Farmington, Maine to Curtis B. and Shirley L. (Bull) Taylor. She was a long-time resident of Carlsbad. Elaine worked as a secretary for IMC Potash, retiring after 27 years of service. She was a Mary Kay beauty consultant. Elaine also served on the board for the Internationalities Federal Credit Union. Survivors are her daughter, Trish Utley of Carlsbad, NM; foster daughter, Scheree Bailey of Alamogordo, NM; brother, Michael Taylor of Lajunga, California; sisters: Andrea Santino of Rio Rancho, NM, Susan Bailey of Roswell, NM; grandchildren: Samuel Utley of Albuquerque, NM, Kirstin Plumlee of Carlsbad, NM; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
