Edward "Eddie" E. Webb

Edward E. "Eddie" Webb, 62, of Wagon Wheel, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away January 13, 2010 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 15, 2010, 10:00 AM, at Prairie Haven Chapel, Hobbs, NM with Andy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery, Hobbs, New Mexico. Hobbs Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Edward E. "Eddie" Webb was born September 4, 1947 in Garden City, Kansas to Elmer Benton and Betty Jo (Boyer) Webb. He graduated from Hobbs High School in 1965. Eddie served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He married Cindy Hunt November 19, 1976 in Lovington, New Mexico. They moved to Carlsbad in 1982. Eddie worked for Southwestern Public Service for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding and working on his Harley. Eddie also loved working in the yard. He was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Conner Dunn. Survivors are his wife, Cindy Webb of Carlsbad, NM; three daughters: Lisa Gore and husband, Jeff of Lubbock, TX, Tonya Dunn of Carlsbad, NM, Tiffany Stevens and husband, Jesse of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Betty Webb of Las Cruces, NM, six grandchildren; brother, Mark Webb and wife, Sandy of Monument, NM, sister, Barbara McDonald of Las Cruces, NM and brother, Gail Webb and wife, Vicki of Odessa, TX.
