Edward "Bud" Holm

Edward "Bud" Holm, 82, of S. 6th Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, May 8, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Boyd officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Edward "Bud" Holm was born October 14, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Mildred (Wittbrod) Holm. He served his country in the US Air Force during Vietnam and continued service until retiring in 1979. Bud moved to Carlsbad in 2005 and has enjoyed renovating and remodeling homes during his retirement. He loved animals and cherished his dogs. Bud enjoyed his friends at the pool. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bud is survived by his daughter, Susan Holm of Phoenix, Arizona and sister, Jeanneane Diestelow.
