Dustin Corey Stapleton

Dustin Corey Stapleton, 41, of South Canal Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012, 10:00 AM, at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1105 N. Pate Street with Rev. Phillip Price officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Dustin Corey Stapleton was born June 17, 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas to Glen and Debra (Hollis) Stapleton. He married Kassie Shann Solar on February 12, 1992 in Fort Worth, Texas. His hobbies included playing guitar, four-wheeling, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers. Survivors are his wife, Kassie S. Stapleton; two daughters: Shannique Stapleton and Chessa Stapleton; grandson: Corey Wells all of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Debra Duke and husband, Jim of Ft. Worth, TX; father, Glen Stapleton of Lake Whitney, TX; two brothers: James Duke and wife, Jessie of Ft. Worth, TX, Tony Stapleton and wife, Christy of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Jennifer Stapleton of Ft. Worth, TX; nephews: Jourdan Duke and Jacob Duke; grandmothers: Jerry Stapleton of Lake Whitney, TX and Mary Warren of Ft. Worth, TX. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
