Dustin "D.C." Austin, 27, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Missouri. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2015, 2:00 PM, at First Assembly of God with Pastor Brad Coates officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Dustin "D.C." Austin was born September 5, 1987 in Carlsbad, NM to James and Tama (Gregory) Austin. His daughter was his world. Dustin loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed off-roading and shooting. Dustin was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Austin; mother, Tama Leisle; grandfather, Charles Gregory; grandmother, Irene Austin. Survivors are his daughter, Araya Sunshine Austin of Texas; siblings: Michele Rutley and husband, Jim, Wendy Whitlock and husband, Duncan, Chris Austin and wife, Anna, Tori Leisle, Michael "Koolaid" Sostrich, Joseph Liddell and wife, Jande, all of Carlsbad, NM; uncle, Jim Gregory of Missouri; aunts: Chicky Gregory-Rogers of Carlsbad, NM, Lynn Gregory-Floyd of Missouri; nieces and nephews: Gavin Garcia, Hunter Garcia, Austin Peralta, D.J. Whitlock, Cora Whitlock, Toby Austin, Cole Austin, Memorie Austin, Brandon Harsch, Zaida Austin, Jadah Austin; grandmother, Myrna Gregory of Missouri; cousin, Traci Burns of Arizona; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
