Donna C. Eavenson

Donna C. Eavenson, 76, of Schooner Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Landsun Homes. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donna C. Eavenson was born on October 12, 1937, in Wichita, Kansas to Harold Gordon and Annabelle (Menard) Dusing. She grew up in Albuquerque and married Jack Eavenson August 4, 1954. Donna worked as a secretary with the U.S. Department of Energy in Albuquerque and later here in Carlsbad before retiring in 2003 with 47 years of service. Her hobbies included reading and crocheting. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Eavenson. Survivors are her son, David Harold Eavenson of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Anna Mae White and husband, Wade of Carlsbad, NM; grandson, David Wade White; great-grandson, Trenton Wade White and sisters: Judy Wackerly of Manteca, California and Shirley Goins of Carlsbad, NM.
