Donald Wallace

Donald Wallace, 72, former resident of Carlsbad, NM and owner of Wallace Plumbing went to be with His Lord and Savior on Monday, June 13, 2011 after a year-long battle with cancer. Donald was born in Portales, NM to William and Mable Wallace. He was preceded in death by both parents, one grandchild, and several aunts and uncles. He leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Cheryl Wallace, his children, Sally Doyle of San Carlos, CA; Terrence Wallace of Tacoma, WA; Donald Wallace and his spouse Joyce, of Tacoma, WA; Matthew Wallace and his spouse Christina of Las Cruces, NM; two step children, Rebecca Fronk and her spouse Jerry, of Bedford, TX and Gary Fleener and his spouse Janet, of Park, KS; his sister Iva Lou Clark and her spouse Delbert of Santa Rosa, CA; 11 grandchildren ,a niece and great nieces and nephews. Although we greatly mourn his passing, we rejoice in the fact that he is in heaven and has no more pain or suffering. Pallbearers will be John Connell, Scott Fitch, Bob Tiffner, Dave McCloskey, Jerry Fronk and Gary Fleener. Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Services are schedules for Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Guy Coupe, Highland Baptist Church in Hobbs, NM, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Carlsbad, NM. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
