Diosdado (Doydie) G. Jaure, passed away with his wife and children by his side, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on September 14, 2022. Diosdado was born on January 12, 1948, in Carlsbad, NM to Francisco Martinez Jaure and Isabel Galvan Jaure.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, Friday, September 16, 2022, at San Jose Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow.
Diosdado served with the US Navy on the U.S.S. Samuel Gompers for 4 years in the Vietnam era. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal during his time serving in the Navy. Diosdado worked for Eddy County for 33 years, then he retired to enjoy his days at home with his family.
He married the love of his life, Amelia Campos on January 13,1996 in their hometown, Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Diosdado was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Juanita Duran, brother Francisco Jaure, nephews, Christopher Carrasco and Richard Anthony Galvan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia, of the family home; sons, Sunny Jaure and Diosdado Jaure; stepchildren, Diane Trujillo (Mark), JoAnne Jaure, Ernest C. Granado, Joe C. Granado; brothers, Joe Carrasco (Catherine), Ruben Galvan (Luisa), Ricky Galvan (Susie); sister, Martha Galvan (fiancé, Johnny Dorado), 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, that will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers will be Mark Trujillo, Xaen Jaure, Sunny Jaure, JoAnne Jaure, Tim Galindo, Robbie Galvan, Joe Granado and Aariyah Granado.
