Diana Cope Shaw

Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Diana Cope-Shaw announce her passing on April 26, 2020. Diana Shaw, 53, was born August 13, 1966 to Jay and Marguerite Cope. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Shaw; her mother, Marguerite Cope; her sister, Julie Marisa Cope and her niece, Raven Cope. Diana graduated from Carlsbad Senior High in 1984. She received a degree in Business Management at NMSU, Las Cruces. Diana also received her teaching certificate at Denton, Texas. She worked as an accountant for 7-Eleven corporate office in Dallas, Texas. She was a huge fan of riding her Harley-Davidson with her husband, Tommy. She had two huskies, Jake and Rocky. She was a member of the ASPCA. Diana was accomplished, independent, feisty, and a wonderful foremother to her niece. She had the ability to recall anything that her sister conveniently forgot. Her tenacity and free spirit will serve as an inspiration to us all. Diana, we will miss you greatly!
