Deloras Ann Wissinger

Deloras Ann Wissinger, 80, of Westridge Road, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Landsun Homes. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Landsun Otto Chapel with Chaplain Stephanie Harmon officiating. A private family interment will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Deloras Ann Wissinger was born February 25, 1934 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania to John and Mary (McCormick) Wissinger. She moved to Carlsbad with her parents in 1955. Years ago Deloras would go to the Rodeway Inn every Friday night to dance, which she dearly loved. She loved holding and caring for all the new baby cousins in the family. Deloras enjoyed the past eleven years at Landsun Homes and she considered the staff and residents her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Wissinger and several aunts and uncles. Survivors are her aunt, Monna Johnson of Carlsbad, NM; uncle, Harold McCormick of Dallas, Texas and numerous cousins and extended family.
