Deborah L. Samaniego

Deborah “Debbie”, age 56, whose spirit departed from us on Saturday, January 12, 2025. She passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was surrounded by love of her two sons upon passing.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time. 

Debbie was born to Peggie Carothers and Franklin Jackson on April 9, 1968 in Carlsbad, NM.

Debbie was a caregiver for many years at Carc Inc. She was married to Dan Samaniego and had three children: Daniella, Daniel, and Dillon. Her children were her life. Debbie was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Debbie was full of life and she was always on the go. Debbie loved animals, she even raised birds.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Franklin Jackson. 

Debbie is survived by her husband, Dan Samaniego of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Peggie Carothers of Forth Worth, TX; grandmother, Ruby Kennedy; sister, Sandy Edison and husband, Danny; niece, Laura and family of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Frankie “Bim” Jackson and wife and children; daughter, Daniella Samaniego; sons: Daniel Samaniego, Dillon Samaniego and wife, Courtney of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren, Milani, Layla and Adrain.
