Deborah M. "Debbie" Parsons

Deborah M. “Debbie” Parsons, 68, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Deborah was born October 14, 1955 in Tucson, Arizona. 

Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Carlsbad Cemetery. 

Deborah graduated from CHS in 1973. Debbie later received an associated degree from NMSU – Carlsbad. She worked as a health aide for Carlsbad Medical Center and Dr. Kim P. Lark for a number of years. Debbie enjoyed researching family genealogy and cooking. She was a long-time member of Epworth Methodist Church and Eastern Star. 

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, George Gustav and Neoma Ruth (Loop) Goumas; husband, Michael Parsons; brother, George Goumas; sisters, Gyn Miller and Cheryl Taylor. 

Debbie is survived by her sons: Jeremy Franco and wife, Mimi, Billy Parsons; grandson, Michael Parsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
