David Charles Moore

David Charles Moore, 38, of Irvin Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Artesia General Hospital. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, March 10, 2017, 10:00 AM, at Blodgett Street Baptist Church with Pastor David Prell officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David Charles Moore was born July 25, 1978 in Fairfield, California to Charles B. and Edith (Niece) Moore, III and moved to Carlsbad with his parents in 1985. He attended Carlsbad Schools. David played soccer and enjoyed snowboarding. He worked in construction for many years. David was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Moore, III. Ephesians 2:4-10 Survivors are his son, Jackson Moore; step-daughter, Chloe Melton; mother, Edith Moore; brothers: Stephen Moore, Jared Moore; sister, Elisabeth Campbell and husband, Brandon; grandfather, Fred Niece and nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle and cousins.
