David was a strong Christian man that influenced many people in different ways. He was devoted to his family and his country. During his work career, he worked many years oversees, primarily in the nuclear industry. Once retired, his passion became the needs of neglected and abused children. His interests ranged from politics, alpacas, to art. He was always up for a good book and would share his options freely.
Although direct and opinionated, his loving influence will be missed and demonstrated though the lives of his children. He was very proud of them and their accomplishments. David was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Walker of Carlsbad, NM; children: David Garland Walker and wife, Shannon of Sealy, TX, John Bradley Walker and wife, Michelle Kingsbury of Virginia Beach, VA, Lance Rossing and partner, Freddie Perez of Seattle, WA, Lindsey Rossing of Carlsbad, NM, Erik Walker and wife, Samantha of Las Cruces, NM, Tanner Walker of Carlsbad, NM, Taylor Walker of Carlsbad, NM and Loren Grace Walker of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Britney Paige, Zeb and Zaaven Hope, Amanda, Jason and Mallory and great-grandson, Kennedy.
