Obituary David H. Eavenson, 62, of Schooner Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Carlsbad General Hospital. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David Harold Eavenson was born on May 4, 1955, in Farmington, NM to Jack Eavenson and Donna (Dusing) Eavenson. He grew up in Moriarty and married, Marie, in 1982. David worked as an equipment operator for several oilfield service companies. His hobbies included team roping and hunting or fishing every chance he got. David was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his bride, Marie Gray; step-daughter, Hunter Seymour and husband, Eric of Knoxville, TN; his sister, Anna Mae White and brother-in-law Wade White of Carlsbad, NM; nephew, David Wade White and family; his neighbors and dear friends, Robert, Frances, Ryan, and Kyle Boatman; Josh and Devra DeLozier.
